- Internal medicine and Gastroenterology specialization from Royal College of physicians of Canada Fellow of Royal college of Physicians of Canada FRCPC.
- Fellowship in ERCP and advanced therapeutics from McGill University
- Fellowship in Endoscopic Ultrasound EUS McGill University

- Management of common GI diseases /symptoms: heartburn, abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing, peptic ulcer, diarrhea and rectal bleeding and weight loss
- Management of abnormal liver function tests and common liver diseases including hepatitis
- Diagnosing and treating upper and lower GI bleeding
- Diagnosing and managing inflammatory bowel diseases
- Diagnosing gastric and colon cancer
- Performing diagnostic upper endoscopy / OGD, colonoscopy and removal of polyps ie early cancer
- Performing intra gastric balloon for weight loss
- ERCP for removal of CBD stones, stenting for cholangiocarcinoma and pancreatic cancer
- Managing acute and chronic pancreatitis
- EUS for diagnosing CBD stones, chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer and draining pancreatic collections
